As a lifelong fan of Doctor Who, I was delighted when the chance arose to write a novel featuring a Doctor of my choice. I
plumped for the Third Doctor, as portrayed by Jon Pertwee - effectively the Doctor I'd grown up with.
My novel, which will appear in 2013 - the fiftieth anniversary of the series - will feature not only the Third Doctor,
but also UNIT, the Brig, Jo Grant and my favorite fictional villain, The Master.
